Ingredients
- 50 mililiters vegetable oil
- 250 grams onion diced
- 100 grams sausage
- 150 grams okra sliced thin
- 150 grams green pepper diced
- 200 mililiters chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 500 grams cooked rice
Directions
- In a saute pan, heat the oil.
- Add the onions and saute until the start to turn brown.
- Add sausage and brown.
- Add okra and green pepper. Saute until vegetables soften.
- Add vegetable stock and seasonings. Cook until the liquid reduces by half, five minutes.
- Mix vegetables with cooked rice. Serve hot.
