Delicious, crunchy pieces of poultry fat after it has been rendered. Cracklings are sold packaged in some supermarkets and specialty markets. “Cracklin’ bread” is cornbread with bits of cracklings scattered throughout.

I am looking for a complete recipe for kosher cracklin bread. My search engines indicate there is at least one such recipe, but I am unable to find it. If you have such a recipe, I’d appreciate it if you would send it to me at richardarkin@aol.com .
Thanks.
I did a quick search, and I would render chicken fat and skin for cracklins, and use soy milk or water in place of the buttermilk.
There are however religious issues with making bread that is dairy or meat, so I won’t be posting a recipe.
